I grew up in Fullerton, but left for eight years for medical school and residency in New York City. I fell in love with emergency medicine there, seeing patients who spoke every language, had differen...t stories to tell, and sometimes had nowhere else to go but the emergency department. There I also met my wife, whom I convinced quite easily to return with me to California to work, live, and explore. I also got the benefit of returning to my beloved Dodgers and Lakers.
