I wanted to become a doctor and work with children ever since I was a little girl and saw hungry and malnourished Ethiopian children on TV. When I was 9 years old, my family moved from a small town in... the French Alps to Los Angeles. I completed my residency training in New York, which was where I met my husband. After 5 years of winters, the sunshine of Los Angeles was calling me back.
