Is this you?I was born and raised in Lima, Peru, and moved to the United States with my family when I was 14 years old. I was high school valedictorian and graduated Summa Cum Laude from the University of Oklahom...a with a degree in Biomedical Sciences. I moved to Cleveland, Ohio, to attend medical school at Case Western Reserve Medical School, where I graduated with honors and distinction in research. I remained in Cleveland to complete my Neurosurgery residency at University Hospitals of Cleveland and graduated with over 60 peer-reviewed publications. During residency, I was a Congress of State Neurosurgical Societies Socioeconomic fellow and part of the Neurotrauma Committee as well as a Congress of Neurological Surgeons Leadership fellow. I spent a year at the Swedish Neurological Institute in Seattle, Washington, and completed a fellowship in complex and minimally invasive spine surgery.
