He went on to complete his transplant surgery fellowship at Columbia University in New York City. He has served on regional and national committees and has research and publication experience in organ donation and transplantation. He is an active member of the American Society of Transplant Surgeons, the American Hepatopancreatobiliary Association and a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.Prior to joining Centura Health, Dr. Vedula served as the Surgical Director of Pancreas Transplantation at AdventHealth Transplant Institute (formerly Florida Hospital Transplant Institute) in Orlando.In his free time, Dr. Vedula enjoys spending time with his family, learning about different cultures and cuisines and attending local theaters and concerts.
