Dr. Norgaard earned her M.D. from the State University of New York School of Medicine at Stony Brook and completed her residency at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Norgaard joined the Johns Hopkins faculty in 2006.Dr. Norgaard currently has an active role in simulation training for the Johns Hopkins Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine Residency College Days. Dr. Norgaard is a leader in training residents in difficult technical skills and helps them develop the effective communication, teamwork and leadership skills needed to handle the rapidly evolving demands encountered in the practice of anesthesiology.
