I was born and raised in Brooklyn and lived most of my adult life in Philadelphia. Since I went to college just outside of Philadelphia, I relocated there and stayed to finish my medical schooling. I ...went straight into private practice after I finished my residency in family medicine. As my practice grew, I worked in three different locations in Philadelphia. I enjoyed 11 years of private practice in that historic city. In 2007, I relocated to California and joined the great team of physicians and surgeons at Kaiser Permanente. I have 15 years of experience in the Air National Guard, where I served as a flight surgeon. I was even deployed for more than nine months to Iraq. It was a privilege to serve my country overseas as a flight surgeon.
