I was born in Sonora, Mexico and moved to Escondido, California when I was four. I went to Escondido High School and then went on to Stanford University for both my undergraduate and medical education.... I loved the Bay Area, but I missed San Diego. I completed my Pediatric Residency at the University of California, San Diego. The combination of human interaction and science led me to medicine and I fell in love with the pediatric population. I love spending time with my family here in San Diego, dancing, and playing soccer.
