Dr. Houge believes practicing medicine is a privilege and a calling. Dr. Houge is passionate about his patients and strives to be thorough and compassionate in caring for each and every child.After graduating from the University of Minnesota Medical School, he completed his residency in Pediatrics at Tripler Army Medical Center, Honolulu. He served with both the Army and Air Force as a pediatrician and in multiple leadership positions in Germany, Bosnia, New York, Colorado Springs, Kuwait, Utah, Denver and San Antonio before settling in Colorado Springs.Dr. Houge and his wife are blessed with five young children, including three by adoption. As a family, they enjoy reading, singing, biking, hiking, dance, soccer, swimming and skiing together.
