In college, I studied nutritional sciences at Cornell University in New York. This has influenced my practice to include an emphasis on diet and lifestyle changes to promote wellness. I love to cook a...nd believe strongly that healthy food should be delicious. I worked at the Statler Hotel at Cornell during summers and gained an appreciation for quality customer service, which I use to deliver high-quality care and compassionate bedside manner. I completed medical school at State University of New York (SUNY) Downstate in Brooklyn and internal medicine residency at Northwell Health in Long Island. At Northwell, I treated an incredibly diverse group of patients with complex medical conditions at various stages. I always had a feeling I would eventually move to California, and after finishing my residency training, I decided I was ready. I am fluent in English and proficient in Spanish.
