I am originally from India. My parents are both physicians and I decided early on that was what I wanted to do as well. I have been blessed that I am able to do what I enjoy the most. I did my medical... school in India and then went on to complete my residency in internal medicine at Worcester Medical Center in Worcester, MA. I stayed back for a year as the chief resident and then moved to Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine, to do my fellowship in nephrology. After my fellowship, I moved to Bakersfield to work for Kaiser Permanente and have been here ever since.
